kakashi, I agree with u- cut loss (take position) works both ways – to cut further loss on profit or take the loss. I am also for averaging down because statistical u will be a winner in the longer run. Maybe Vin has deep pocket to continue to average down – but what’s wrong incorporating the cut loss/ re-positioning concept. Investing is all about hope and the future – why not work this way – working with an example limit all yr favorite blue chips each @ RM50K investment but buy in tranches. On assumption u hit the wall and you need to average down - Do it by all means but stop new money when it reached a little above or below RM50K. If the mkt is still at the down trend, continue to average down using cut loss approach ie sell and then buy next low with your holdings only (no new money). BTW there is no fixed rules to play the market, just expand your options. I am on online trading, playing cash upfront meaning for today sell, proceeds considered today. Buy at T+3

Haha iphone4, no rules. Each individual behave differently and think differently. That is why we always have buyer and seller no matter how ridiculous the price seems. This makes stock market so interesting.
And finally, its the profit that matters. One can talk a lot but if there is no profit to back him up, he is only a blogger.

PETALING JAYA: A large crowd mostly wearing yellow T-shirts gathered at Dataran Batu Pahat, Johor in what is billed as a prelude to the Bersih 4.0 rally, set to take place in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday and Sunday.

According to Kwee Tiang Chin, 65, the gathering was peaceful with many chanting, 'Bersih' and 'Daulat Tuanku' and singing the national anthem.

"People of all ages were there and when the emcee spoke about the Sultan, everyone started to say 'Daulat Tuanku'.

"There was police presence and everything was under control," said Kwee.

The Bersih 4.0 rally has been declared illegal by the police as the organisers have not obtained permission from the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL).

However, Bersih 2.0 chief Maria Chin Abdullah insists that the Aug 29 and 30 rally will proceed as planned.

the drop in profit already priced in since they have announced both thai and indon's wings earlier. Price is still attractive at current level. one thing i noticed nowadays when there are few atm machines at the mall. Most long queue is always CIMB.... ppl nowadays are using CIMB more.... :)

When HK settlement date next year say index close at 1590 like today. So CIMB will pay (1735-1590)/666=22sen to those buying PW today. The different is gain to CIMB.
