Poor regulatory regime. Long outstanding insider trading cases, unusual volume and price movement enquiry is based on random pick instead of auto response, hardly see actions on Chinese listed firms despite various issues, etc. Conflicting interest is difficult to juggle.

Be extra precautions in Malaysia stock. It is heavily manipulated and lack of transparency. Company director are greedy with many loop holes. Sad sad.. I alrdy stop more than a year never step into such investment. One lost and it hold back all your gain. Above are all my experience. Happy trading.

If bursa were to investigate genm on the unusual volume and price movement over the recent two weeks, and on compliance with information disclosure believe genm may drop to $2.50. Luckily bursa is sleeping.

Efficient regulation means:
The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) announced today that former executive director of Linear Corp Bhd Alan Rajendram Jeya Rajendram has been convicted by the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on Thursday (Aug 29) for knowingly authorising the furnishing of a false statement to Bursa Malaysia in 2009.

Alan was sentenced to seven months jail and a fine of RM100,000 after he pleaded guilty to the offence under 369(b)(B) of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007, the SC said in a statement today.

This may not be the end of chapter.

Tory rebels and opposition MPs have defeated the government in the first stage of their attempt to pass a law designed to prevent a no-deal Brexit.

The Commons voted 328 to 301 to take control of the agenda, meaning they can bring forward a bill seeking to delay the UK's exit date.

In response, Boris Johnson said he would bring forward a motion for an early general election.

Jeremy Corbyn said the bill should be passed before an election was held.

In total, 21 Tory MPs, including a number of ex-cabinet ministers, joined opposition parties to defeat the government.

$100 Oil? Drone Strikes Halt Half Of Saudi Crude Production

Drones attacked Abqaiq facility in Saudi Arabia and the Khurais oil field run by Saudi Aramco early Saturday morning, the kingdom's interior ministry said, sparking a massive fire at a crude processing plant essential to global oil supplies.

The closure will impact nearly 5 million barrels of crude processing per day, affecting 5 percent of the world's daily oil production. And while Aramco is confident that it can recover quickly, if it can't, however, the world could face a production shortage of as much 150MM barrels per month. An outcome which could send oil prices into the triple digits.

Furthermore, in light of news that the Saudi outage could last for months, this could be just the start. As a reminder, according to Morningstar research director, Sandy Fielden, “Brent could go to $80 tomorrow, while WTI could go to $75... But that would depend on Aramco’s 48-hour update. The supply problem won’t be clear right away since the Saudis can still deliver from inventory."

Of course, should Aramco confirm that the outage will last for weeks, expect the Brent onslaught to continue until the price hits $80, and keeps moving higher.
