Prinsiptek Corporation Bhd has teamed up with QSE Construction Sdn Bhd to develop the Langat 2 water treatment plant and water reticulation system. It entered into a joint venture agreement (JVA) with QSE for the RM24.9 mln project.
Under the JVA, the parties will jointly undertake the project which was awarded by Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd. Prinsiptek is entitled to 92.5% of the contract sum. The JVA would be for 24 months and it would start operations immediately. (The Star Online)

TP5 remains. Many SHs are wait and see approach due to its relatively reasonable DY. Nonetheless, the Sep results yoy should be lower in view of significant drop in overall market capitalization, hence will affect its commission. The current price may stay if still announce reasonable dividend even if profit is down. Anyway, invest on our own risk.

...AS the regulations on independent directors turn more stringent, corporate executives are increasingly less willing to take up the fiduciary duties, especially when the fees are small.... No idea how many trust this beautiful governance structure? Poor performance yet chief and bod get higher pays etc. Even certain authorities may not able to play their role effectively, don't expect much on independent director etc. Biggest scandal case tells us even at national level any structure can be just for show or redundant.
