New variants of the virus appear all over the world as announced in the media. Vaccines - even if they are developed within the next two or three years are rendered ineffective and hence cannot cope with these new mutations.

Morals aside, may be this covid -19 like the other epidemics in the past like Spanish Flu, Russian Flu, SARS, Mers. Covid-19 is nature's way of population control. Together with climate change and so many recent natural disasters - earthquakes, Floods, happening all over the world -further enhanced this theory. We cannot deny that the current World population has reached unsustainable levels.

I was looking at both Comfort and Rubberex to earn a few bucks. At the end I bought a few of each. I rate Comfort a more profitable company and hence should command a higher market price, but as it happens, Rubberex has the higher market price. Hope next week Comfort will adjust to be at least on par with Rubberex

Yea, Patrick is right, it's not about absolute earnings, it's about earnings per share.

Ruberex is a small player, but the following is why I think has potential.

1) It doesn't have as much shares issued as compared to the rest (easily controlled - Well, can work both ways - but just be careful.)

2) the stock looks cornered. Owner owns >50% officially. Unofficially? And continually buying.

3) It has a doubling capacity story which hopefully comes on-stream by 3rd or 4th quarter 2020.

4) Earnings growth is easy to come by from smaller companies with smaller bases. Especially when there's strong demand and ASP growth.

5) Very aggressive and opportunistic owner from how it looks so far.

Hope it doesn't disappoint in the next few months to come.

FYI, I have both Comfort and Ruberex. I also hope comfort catches up with Ruberex and both run like crazy ! Fingers crossed Ruberex comes out with good results, as it is reporting soon, and that will drive all the second tier stocks !

Guys, we need to face reality, glove usages will be drop once vaccine are approved.. this stock only for short term, dont get trap here with SIFU projection saying it can last for few years, my prediction is 21Q1 will be our final day before it collapsed.. please trade wisely.. take ur profit before it too late.. this counter wont survived beyond 22nd Oct 2020..

1. The current run up have fully reflected in its peak valuation.

i used to have both comfort & ruberex, sold all to add to carepls as its better eps than both comfort & ruberex, which their QR is not yet out.

also added supermax as its OBM king.

TQ comfort & ruberex both for the profits. no regrets owning both, just that moving to next level comfort & ruberex got limitations.

comfort not expanding as aggressively like carepls.

ruberex controlled by sneaky dato ong who might just take it private & give a mandatory offer to minority shareholders.

just my own strategy, those who stay on comfort also no lose only win coz still hold on to glove counters.

There is some question here.
1) If vaccine is functioning, i dont think they are quiet as this.
2) we must now the disease is a virus. can the virus be so easily with just a vaccine?
We must know all above is just a political gaming. You and me are not stupid as it is.
