This is an automated system, no human can manage all share localy, regionaly and globaly to react at same time and same way,,we know that, they know that, and we all have to live with it hoping its over soon.
If usa proceed with it tax on imported steel, China is the only one that can efford to reduce the steel price by 25% equal to the usa imposed tax, so that the production of steel will remain the same and usa company will still buy chinese steel, therefor Huaan will not be impacted. Steel manufactorer are impacted as they will earn less, but i guess China can bring back some kind of subsidy to these sectors..if the impact is big or probably the big chinese project initiative will lead to more demand for local and regional steel production, which will benefit company like Huaan tremendously.
Huaan has good business but speculative frm operators are so strong so they can ctrl the price. As small retailers, i think better watch your steps carefully... or maybe take a rest till the market is quite attractive soon... whatever contra, or not contra players, they still known as retailers whereby they are supporting the company to grow. Everyone need to play their roles...gdluck ouls :)
Does anyone know if the customers of Linyi Yehua Coking Co Ltd (i.e. steel companies) produce steel more for local consumption or export to US? Or does this US tariff thing even affect Linyi Yehua Coking Co (or Huaan) profit at all?
I can't understand why most of the investors so worried on US tariff in steel. Ini case not much sangkuk dengan China & not even Malaysia. Most of China & Malaysia industries is supply end product or sub-module for them only. Just don't panic, be cool & understand all the situation 1st. If not u will lose underwear easily.
For your information:- Where Does the U.S. Import Steel From? Surprise is more from Canada, not China. The top source of American steel imports is Canada, not China, accounting for nearly 16% of all imports between January and September last year. In fact, China ranks 15th on that list and saw a 5% decline in the volume of exports to the U.S. compared to the same period a year before. An important caveat, however, is that U.S. steel makers filed a complaint against Chinese-originated steel imports from Vietnam last December and the Department of Commerce announced its intention to impose heavy anti-dumping duties on those products.
*** India (144%) and Russia (128%) were the fastest-growing exporters for steel to the U.S. in terms of value for the first nine months of last year.
That's how management shd respond in this negative situation. You defend not only the company's operation but also the shareholders at large. This had make Press Metal more creditable.
Ah..all the Trump noise to negotiate for a fair NAFTA agreement for US! ( Canada & Mexico being one of the top steel and aluminium suppliers) And the whole global market reacted as irrationally as him!
Buy now or never, I personally believe that Huaan should be at Rm1 with a PE ratio of 13-14 remember the future is always bright, these days are just rainy days. Rainbow comes after rain :)
