It is noteworthy to point out that GenP downstream manufacturing revenue was down by about 420m!
Not sure if that is due to cyclical or plain poor business or creative accounting

GenP contribution was the largest in Q4 2021, for those who says GenP doesn't contribute much
But due to the downstream biz drop, this Q1 22 contribution was much lower

Let us be fair. Genting at least turnaround with a profit before tax of 12 million compared to a loss of 486 million same period last year.
But it is still very disappointing even with covid-19 restrictions lifted. Tomorrow red.

Oversea businesses, all not performing well except gens...... So when you are not making profit in expensive foreign currency, the expensive foreign currency expenses will drag everything down. That is my understanding. If other overseas businesses perform like gens, then we should see a very profitable genting. Hope my layman's opinion worth a few cents.
