I believe Berjaya Infrastructure is a subsidiary of BJCorp and VT is chairman of both BJCorp & U Mobile so shoring up of public standing of Chairman before IPO very important for public acceptance no?

Very sensible of you. You are right, BCORP and U Mobile are completely different entities and VT is the only link between them. Good to know that you're not onboard the hype train. Besides, I doubt the anticipated U Mobile IPO will happen this year, even next year for that matter. Time will tell.

U Mobile Sdn Bhd, which plans to undertake an initial public offering (IPO) later this year, has engaged CIMB Investment Bank Bhd as its adviser for the exercise. It is targeting a valuation of RM10 billion to RM11 billion, according to several sources familiar with the matter.

“Having appointed an adviser, the company is on track for a listing by the end of this year at the earliest,” says a source.

According to another source, two foreign banks have been appointed as joint global coordinators for the IPO exercise.

If you want to judge how this company performance through daily , weekly or yearly basis throughout market price indication, maybe the Board of Directors can still mock you stupid or ignorant. But if you judge it with fundamental , dividend paidout, or bursa announcement, you find it ridiculous funny fraudulent sensational bussinesses news that's bring little to profits for this conglomerate contribution in quarterly or annually financial report.
