Nov.2019 - Processed chicken - Rm5.50
Feb.2020 - Processed chicken - Rm6.90
Every Kg of chicken is Rm1.40 more as compared to Nov.2019 price.

Live bird price falling to RM3.90 from RM4.80, how come process chick price up. Logic please.

I roughly estimate poultry side operation loss wider to RM20mil and flour side profit also around RM18-20mil.

I agree with steve Ooi, 2 days ago i brought 1 set (30) of grade B egg only cost RM7.99 at Brillian shopping,compare 2 month ago it cost around RM10.50-11.00 per set.Does its means the demand for chicken & egg become slow down but supply still maintain at the higher level.If the fact is true,the estimation made by Steve Ooi may be realise in the coming quarter report.

Simple calculation; profit from process chicken alone will b.....let say 1 bird profit 0.30 Sen ,full production will be 200000 x365 =73 million !!! This year Mflour profit will be very very very very geng !!! First TP 40% up!

他今日发文告指出，受新冠肺炎疫情影响，近期到我国旅游的人次下降，本地人也减少出门，造成市场购买力减弱，肉鸡如今面临产量过剩情况，价格下降，一些业者甚至面临亏损。

销量减少 产量过剩

“目前因疫情肆虐，许多进口农产品的价格都上涨，但本地的肉鸡价格却下降，消费者能购买到更便宜的鸡肉，希望消费者能给予支持，帮助整个禽畜行业。”

他表示，肉鸡价格持续走低将影响广大禽畜业者，牵连甚广，因此希望消费者在这非常时期能多购买鸡肉，彼此互助互利。

他表示，财政部日前宣布将会拨出款项协助受疫情影响的商家，他希望禽畜业能列入其中，也希望民众能多购买鸡肉，令鸡农的生计稳定下来，届时这笔款项便能转向协助更多人。
