and covid 19 worldwide outbreak......Im decided to exit my Bat holdings.....

Foreign investor keep sellling our bursa stock as they hav no confident on abilily of our new government

BAT stock largely hold by foreign fund and foreign investor..

and MOH's new Tobacco Act by March 2020 will be a question whether will be carry on by the new government

Need to factor in the increasing presence and preference for e-cigg, especially among younger generations. And do consider our govt has been doubling down on cigarettes tax and rules for the past few years, which undoubtedly have adverse impact on BAT stock

If GST replace SST, then BAT profit will increase by 6 %. Assume profit = 400 million X 6% = 24 million / 300 million shares, dividend increase by approx RM 0.10

@Nepo ...If GST replace SST, then BAT save money as current they pay 10% SST on importing ciggs. GST also can claim input tax. Depends on what percentage is GST rate.
