For four months, the cooking oil prices in Indonesia have remained high although Indonesia is known as the world’s largest producer and exporter of palm oil.

The government has set the price of non-packaged cooking oil at Rp 14,000 (97 US cents) per liter, nationwide. Meanwhile, the retail price of cooking oil has climbed to Rp 24,000 ($1,67) per liter on April 19, 2022.

Coordinating Economic Affairs Minister Airlangga Hartarto said in an interview with The Jakarta Post that the increasing cost of cooking oil was triggered by the war in Ukraine and Russia.

According to stock market portal Markets Insider, the global price of crude palm oil (CPO) was US$1,376 per ton in January. After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the price skyrocketed, peaking at $1,935 per ton on March 1.

The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) named on April 19, 2022 four suspects in alleged corruption that has caused scarcity and high cooking oil prices in the country. One of the suspects is Trade Ministry’s Foreign Trade Director General Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana.

Wise men do not get paid. The sustenance/parnassah of a man is depend on God the Almighty.
He is your provider and protector. How many professor/bank executive/IT lecturer/policeman/writer did not have enough to settle their monthly bills?

IF your Creator wanted you to be rich or prosperous, just one announcement (they banned the palm oil export) already make you so rich without any college degree. Look at those founders which are actually not so smart also but when God wanted them to become rich, nobody can stop them.

SO, look to God, if you are entitled or having the merit to become prosperous, you do not have to depend on your rich uncle/cousin because sometimes and sometimes they are not merited to help you.

So look to your Creator daily and those merited and capable to help others.

The best way to compare plantation stocks is to total up the FFB production for the last 3 months for each

company and divided by its Market capitalisation. The reason is that all the plantation companies will have to

report their profit for the quarter ending March before the end of May. Due the record high CPO price all the

planation companies will report increased profit. Which will report the best profit in comparison with its market

capitalisation?

According to data from Indonesia's palm oil association (GAPKI) exports of processed CPO in 2021 stood at 25.7 million tonnes, or 75% of total exports of palm products. CPO exports were 2.74 million tonnes in 2021, or 7.98% of the shipments.

read carefully. is only 7.98% of total CPO is allow since rest is processed palm oil. Meaning Indonesia ban 92.02% export.
