I like your reverse engineering calculation for DNeX PATAMI (Mine is slightly higher than yours, but anyway your figure is good enough for us as a reference point).
I also want to add on the future catalyst for DNeX that can boost the future earning down the road.
1. In future, the WPM is 36k + 5k. And the ASP for each wafer is very much depend on the complexity of the IC design. With CGP and ILI Technology as partner, getting higher ASP moving forward is not a problem. 2. Avalon which is 100% owns by PING is expected to start production in 2023. It is a greenfield and the capacity output is yet unknown. 3. (my wishful thinking list) Since SilTerra is in upstream business, is it possible to create a downstream business just to complete the JIT process...save time, save cost and increase efficiency. Boleh??
The bottom line, DNeX must SHOW US The MONEY.... The more the merrier
For the rest, don't take my write up blindly, do your homework.
atilanohun U sure ? 1 million per qr is peanut for a company of issued share of nearly 3 billion. Typo error of 10 million ? ______ Sorry for type error lah , commennt sense lah 100million minimum per qr !
KEY POINTS TSMC reported December revenue of 155.38 billion new Taiwan dollars (about $5.6 billion), up 4.8% from November. That was a record number for a single month. Demand for semiconductors, which are key for everything from smartphones to cars, continues to rise even as a shortage of chips has hit several industries. Analysts expect TSMC, which manufactures chips for companies like Apple, to benefit from price hikes this year amid strong demand.
Hopefully dnex continues moving away from the current general tech direction. 6 days go up and no announcements yet. Very likely to go up further until announcement. Jerung know already that's why push up earlier.
For DNex we have seen a lot of progress in semicon segment but we hv not seen much progress in O&G…. We have not seen why they brought in Dato Rob Fisher as Director…….DNex does not need an expate of such a high calibre to run Ping… market talk was Dato Rob knows a lot about the oil fields in Malaysia and perhaps he signed the PSC for the gas fields in Malaysia representing EXxonmobil with Petronas back in the Nineties….. ExxonMobil Malaysia plan to sell the assets in Malaysia has not been finalised after 3 years of marketing!
Is DNex progressing in acquiring any of these oilfields or gas fields?
After the UN COP26 climate talks in Glasgow, the UK government has come under increasing pressure to rule out several highly controversial, proposed fossil fuel extraction projects in the UK, including some 30 offshore oil fields in the North Sea.
I wud hazard a guess that Dato Fisher expertise on sustainable energy and carbon emission wud be valuable on seeking approval for the Avalon oil n gas extraction.
The UK government plans to introduce a ‘climate compatibility checkpoint’ to test future oil and gas licensing rounds against wider climate objectives as part of its North Sea Transition Deal. I do not think the other Dnex directors are familiar with such sustainablity criteria as Scope 1, 2 or 3 emissions and Total life cycle emissions (MtCO2e).
@iPlay "Dnex certainly need Fisher n other 'Green' specialists for Avalon approval"
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
