JAKS shareholders are in a catch 21 situation here. The losses are so much that they felt pointless to sell. I am glad my friend sold his AT with more than 90% losses. Remember KYY posting in front of AT? If KYY was naive, then he was not wronged. But i believe he is quite smart lah. Anyway!
JAKS jewel is VN powerplant. However, everything else was bleeding cash. Hopefully LSS4 is positive cash flow lah. More PPs are inevitable. Whether this is ALP's smart move or not yet to be seen. Either way, JAKS would suffer short to mid term unless VN powerplant distribute dividends. Would they? This situation reminds me of Muhibbah. On paper, Muhibbah makes tons of money from Cambodia airport concessions. Have they seen the money after so long? This is like SSlee kept bragging about how much Insas's worth but can see but not touch. Of course, now he can start complaining after he no longer making losses in Insas shares. Another classic example how our judgements/comments are distorted by our interests

Every year I attended Insas AGM and complaint why can't BOD give a reasonable and fair dividend.
I'm still holding 400k+ Insas and looking to top up at below RM1 then Below RM0.9.

A 25 year VN power plant with 25 year depreciation but the 75% loan bankers play safe and want their money + high interest back in 10 years.

So can report good profit but not enough cash flow to pay good dividend

The actual number of Placement Shares to be issued shall not exceed 10% of the total number of Shares in issue at any point in time. Most likely after sharks sold all their PP shares then another tranche of PP again.

Buyers think 12 sen is the bottom.
Sellers sold 12.5 sen and think he can subscribe to another tranche of PP at cheaper price.

On the contrary, the sharks are buying not selling. The sharks being connect persons cannot subscribe for the PP, so they have to buy from the market when the pp subscribers were selling for a penny gains.

why waste time in jaks? there are so many good companies with good mgt to invest. If you switch Jaks to say YTLP half year ago, you make back 3 times...Never invest in company where mgt is lousy and cannot deliver...

Once upon a time when we do a China project we demand to be paid back in 5 years time. So first 5 year only pay bank interest (no principal payment) because interest is tax deductible and profit from the first 5 years all go back to investor as dividend.
