hi dompeilee..i am a loser in the stock market so i want to be your client...i have filled up your mmm investor survey..kindly reply to my email pls..tq
according to cimb report, sarawak estates posted highest MoM production for September, and not to mention the 2H is usually the higher production periods for palm oil; couple with higher log exports starting July, company poised to do better in the coming quarters..
increased holdings, as stock is trading at multi year low, EPF increased stakes as well; not to mention key directors has the capability to launch takeover offer anytime as they have enough shares to do so if they wish..
suspected so, with such volume, not many holders have such amount of stocks. A good price in my opinion, picked up some again. Side note, the production numbers came in within average compare to its past 3mths except for the logs, but reduction of log productions were seen in other players as well.
Epf, or overseas institution fund sold. Price break down support rm2.01, indicate continue downtrend, technical wise not really good. Very undervalue hope monday will recover back 2.07
yep, next few days we should see announcement published if it was epf selling. Also noticed other logging/plantation counters were red too, so not specifically taann ;) just set a prefix range for entry points, eg. every 10% u will top up, or every 10,15bids.
I started buying ta ann, because lastest quater show high earning and growth. Very undervalue, net asset per share rm3.15, with latest eps 7.24. now market price rm1.93. With lastest good qr the stock price should worth rm2.70.
why big kakis dump at discount price? a few months ago I bought gtronic.at 4.44pm it was trading at 2.42 then suddenly plunge to 2.19.i bought at 2.19 but the next day it down till 2.05 before recover to 2.25 then I sold.
Gtronic plunge because tech sector started to fall across the world, begins with dissapointing apple product sales, demand fron semiconductor will be weaken
MoM production numbers came in within expectations as palm oil related numbers were lower in Nov due to rainy season, logging went back to normal avg levels, similar to other plantation players...the difference btwn Taann and other plantation players during the past 4wks is that taann have been buying back its own shares almost everyday from early dec till today, making some use of its cash pile sitting in the bank :)
January's logging production is back to as it should, while palm oil related productions saw some drops as expected. Feb's production may see some drop due to bush fires in Tasmania..
not bad, at least way better than JTIASA....but too bad momentum affected by bush fire...
"During January and February 2019, one of the veneer rotary mills under its subsidiary company, Ta Ann Tasmania Pty Ltd located at Huon in the southern part of Tasmania is experiencing disrupted operation due to bushfires. Damage to site infrastructure and loss of power to the site led to the temporary suspension of the mill operations....."
I was wondering why Ta Ann didn't provide impairment loss for its investment in Sarawak Plantation Bhd? It has purchased Sarawak Plantation Bhd @ RM 2 per share, but the market price of Sarawak Plantation Bhd as at 31 Dec 2018 is RM 1.64. Why Ta Ann didn't provide the impairment loss for the difference in its quarterly report as at 31 Dec 2018?
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
