Congratulations to everyone , please hold tight and let's break 1.65 new level , it might possible to reach this TP , if the bonus share is announced by month end ...

However , checked back the history share price .. the highest is in 2008 years , its was 1.55 that moment ..

But this time will surge even further high , due:

International environment:
1) China cut production , and this will make sure the reduction of inventory.
2) Steel is in demand , price keep up and up

Local environmental:
1) 3 years Safeguards policy
2) since China cut production , and now the local steel is one of the cheapest in the region and it will attract foreign buyer to purchase the local steel.
3) steel price is around 2700-2800 , it may also one of the highest price in history. But still keeping up.

Anyway , if the above data is wrong , please correct me, tq.

Inventory on June 30 was RM433mil & most of it (95% above) was raw materials, based on last 4 years' annual reports (2012-2016).

Since 30/6/2017, Iron scrap price has increased from USD240-270 to last week USD370-390, about 44% up.

Applying % increaed to inventory value, doing nothing Masteel can earn at least RM192mil.

Judge yourself if is Masteel still undervalued at this price?

Q1 PBT was RM17,682,000, if next QR PBT is RM 192,000,000 then the EPS is RM0.60.....wau.....crazy....if continue 4 QR RM0.6 then yearly is RM1.2 EPS....wau!!!

For malaysia iron scrap can not export out, therefore, it always can not follow international price, the iron price is determined by all 4 metal company, i.e Masteel/Annjoo/SSteel/Amsteel.

For i know July scrap dealer buying price is RM1.00, now should be around RM1.20 only. These is almost the record price.

If follow moneySIFU is about RM1.55 to RM1.63 Which is 30% higher
Who can share for more info here?

if mark up 10% Masteel can get RM1.1 per kg.....cost price compare international 1.55 a huge difference....
