I'm not sure if IDSS is regarded as RSS. I've checked last night that no RSS was done on Airasia but AAX only. Anyone can tell me if IDSS transactions are NOT considered as RSS? Appreciate some input on this matter.

angelol, are u referring to the fact that IDSS transactions are not logged into RSS daily transactions? Anyone can confirm or have knowledge on this? It will be greatly appreciated.

IDSS only allowed for Short selling in 1 day, by 4.30pm you have to purchase the stock to recover your position. RSS, i believe is not limited to 1 day. Correct me if im wrong.

I believe the selling for yesterday is quite genuine from foreign fund due to MYR losing its position and also the fuel price hikes.

angelol, thanks for your sensible info. Hence it's called Intra-day-SS (IDSS) so I believe it is so. Do u think such info on IDSS transactions are openly available similar to RSS or if Bursa has a some kind of rules to make them public? IDSS is allowed recently effective 27-aug

IDSS is effective in Aug, but many banks is not ready in their system. Last time i check, you even need to fill up form to activate. Each time you want to short, you need to call to the bank. Maybank is like that. Not sure if they have updated their system now.
