I warn you all first...IFRS 16 lease effective from jan2019 have significant impact on their business ya...better to understand the changes before you dump share on upcoming quarter...it effect your investment decision...once you understand,it nothing for you...i dont want just like other company result not good due to impairment loss then dump...

Under the new stabdard ...airline gearing will increase ,ebitar will increase...since aa monetise n reduces most of debt...gearing now is zero so not much problem...ebitar will increase instead...

I dont understand why everyday got reason say will drop but i earn many from aa already, at 2.3 last time people say high oil price, loss making QR, then when low oil profit QR people say dividend not 90 sen just 40 sure drop, now say market bad and zero gearing？ But i earn so much already haha

The reason why so many people here want AA to go down because they all missed the boat when AA trade at lower price recently. Also many people scare to buy now as seeing AA drop from RM4.00+, possible it will go further to below RM2.00.

Come on guys, look at the prospect please? Is air asia a good company, in which it will growth in term of revenue and profit? Reward more dividend to investor till one day the share price we pay is literally 0? Is the oil price will keep in low gear for long term? Will the ancillary income of AA will growth? I hope one day, all the cost I paid will pay it back to me and I continuesly enjoy the pasive income / cash flow from air Asia. Even though it will take some time.. But good stuff worth the wait isn't it? Off course for ppl who wanna goreng stock only, can't stop u lah..

In the long run, I am bearish on oil prices because of the development of shale oil and electronic vehicles. There is also a greenhouse effect, and there are 20 years before tipping point. If our species wana extinct , fell free to consume more crude oil. . Haha

13 EOI and Tender from potential purchasers for 30 aircraft. If this success, then meaning the monetise process still got so so so much room to play. If look back the earlier disposal circulation, it actually contact option to purchase aircraft in future. The size of transaction is even bigger than the usd 1.18billion transaction. I just cannot imagine AirAsia keep this cash for what purpose? Unless all distribute special dividend or shares buyback, it can be used to acquire competitors?

the planes deal is a double whammy as follows:-

1) Interest rates are lower now than before. Huge interest savings now

2) Plane Value in USD. Sell USD now get more RM. Planes were bought when USD/RM rate were lower. Huge Forex gains now

AA will back to RM4-5 next year.....

Sapura after RI and I expected next will be consolidation that will go bring back SAPURA to RM1-2.....after 1-2 years Sapura will back to RM3-4......

accounting is always about timing of value...it either make u account for more expenses now or later..in the end its the same...either make u realise more profit now or lower profit...most important is business is good..dividend incoming...low oil ..weak usd...better...
