from the outlook it may not look profitable due to replanting. Trees don't grow overnight my friend. The cost of re-planting + low production due to old trees+ high fertilizer cost. This will break-even eventually. Importantly the land will increase in value over time. it is cheap based on NTA.

Breakeven eventually? When? Meanwhile duit dari mana for your operation? Most if not all other plantation companies are earning decently even when the price of CPO is not that great now. Dividends are being distributed. Capital expenses done using cash flow from operations. Land will increase in value over time? Of course but what is the use unless it is sold. after selling then do what? By the way, what is its official NTA since you want to talk about its NTA? did you look at the balance sheet? 58 sen or something like that? Yes, huge amount is classified under "Biological asset". If you think the NTA is understated, then what is its market value?

I am just offering a second opinion here, at least for others here to evaluate their decision whether should invest in this company. Nothing personal.

I did say this is the best performing palm oil stock in terms of earnings. I am just stating this counter is cheap base on the NTA and the potential grow. Land of course will increase in value over time and how do you know there is no land deal in coming months? :)

Kcchongnz, Don't be so angry. Everyone at here can have difference opinion and difference outcome to share at this counter.
Rsawit is publish listed on plantation stock but beside the company have media (Sin chew newspaper)and MDF & Chipboard factory at Sarawak and other business too.

Below is some of the information share with you :-

Top 10 Richest People in Malaysia 2012, Tan Sri Datuk Sir Tiong Hiew King is the number 10 richest man and Asset: Estimated at RM 3.81 Billion. Company: Rimbunan Hijau Group

Cheap based on NTA? What is the NTA? Did you read the balance sheet? As far as I can see it is only 58 sen per share. Most of the assets are not high quality assets of which 1.4 b is PPL and Biological assets. If you think Rsawit is worth more than the NTA in the balance sheet, can you substantiate it? Don't just say cheap cheap cheap. Substantiate!

Land deal? What land deal? How does it affect the value of Rsawit positively? Substantiate, don't just say anything. Without substantiating, how to judge the value?

I am not angry....Of course land deal can impact RSAWIT value and revenue... I can't share more than that. I am sorry.

There are two kind of investment or player in stock. One is hunting fast money and other kind is looking at safe and long terms with fundamental investment.
Technical and fundamental analysis, both is very important to judge while we choosing to buy or sell the stock.
So, nothings is wrong when you see it on Technical or fundamental way. The most important is how to control our own emotion when the stock is drop or raising. Emotion will influence our judging.

The history report of Rsawit is a earning company on 2010~2011. 2012~2013 all the plantation stock is dropping NTA just like SIME. This is the hard time for all the plantation stock.

Why should I be angry? I can't short Rsawit. I never intend to buy Rsawit so don't ever think that I try to entice you to sell to me. I just want to share my view to others so that they have different view points and able to judge themselves.

euscilyn, I don't give a damn who is apa itu latuk Tiong. Why should I care if he is the major shareholder of Rsawit? Btw ever wonder how he became so rich?

Land is the most valuerable asset in all the plantation stock. Let's me explain in a simple way, when you have a house that's your asset. Banker will value your house from time & time when you need money to refinance it. But car is an asset too but banker will depreciation but for land and house there is not depreciation.

I have already expressed my opinion with some numbers that in term of fundamentals, I don't see a thing about Rsawit. So I thought may be technically there is something there. some kind of buying spree and momentum in the stock price. But I look and look and look, though I don't know much about charts, but even that won't prevent me from saying that I don't see nothing in its charts too, short term nor long term. Where is the beef? where is the beef?

I am disagreeing with you kcchongnz on certain aspects... let's see the share price if is up later :) Share price won't lie. Similarly..I said Ivory is going to move...some annoying people said the similar things that profit down 40% bla bla bla..but I stand by my view and my source of infomation.

You of coz can standby your view. nothing wrong with that.

That's not call depreciation. Just the location value. Depreciation application on machine which is dropping each year. The accountant will explain better than me.

crawler, I have nothing against you. I am here to share what I think. Of course what I think may not be right. Far from it. Btw I can only talk about what i can see from the business and its performance, its financial health, cash flow etc. These views of mine may be important for others to make an informed judgement. I have no insider information, absolutely kosong. Unlike you, at least you claim that you have.

I won't argue with you what its share price will be, because I am not good as you. Incidentally, I have the opinion that Ivory is a shitty company. If you like I can start a discussion with you about it. Again I won't comment about its share price in the future, because I am not the Paul the Octopus. Anyway share price doesn't reflect the value of a company, especially in a short term.

Right now I treat you as an ordinary retail investor. So with that in mind, I have a friendly advice which you don't have to accept. Don't just dismiss others opposite view. That person you talked about in Ivory, i think he knows a lot about Ivory and financial matters, despite he uses some aggressive language which i don't know why he has to behave like that.

Good luck to you.

We are talking about financial statements; income statement, balance sheet, cash flows statement. These are statutory required reports to Bursa. From there you can see if a company makes money, got money coming in or not, and is its financial health etc. We can also interpret the credibility of the management by looking at how they present themselves, if they waste company resources, manipulate financial reports, how they allocate resources etc etc. They are all there for you to see. It is not based on internet or not; neither it is based on feelings.

the low CPO price is basically not sustainable..it is already moving up and will hit all time high. RSAWIT had already done a lot of replanting and will be harverst time soon when the price hit all time high.
