Cannon Tan, can you explain why RSawit's nta has dropped from 66 sen a share 15 years ago to 58 sen 10 years ago, 30 sen 5 years ago and just 17 sen today? Is it because like Keck Seng, it has plenty of assets bought over 40 years years ago and has not been revalued since?
Rsawit latest qtr to qtr ffb harvest increased by a whopping 30.41% confirm that management is finally turning around this company from losses to huge profits
Aug 2024 results will see strong earnings
Better will be Nov 2024 results as asset disposal of Rm165 mil will register Rm77 mil profit About 88% profit or 3.77 sen to be reported
RISE OF DIESEL PRICE BY 52% CAUSED PROPERTY, CONSTRUCTION AND OTHERS CUT INTO THEIR PROFITS, BETTER BUY EAST MALAYSIA OIL PALM STOCKS DUE TO NO DIESEL PRICE SPIKE, Calvin Tan
Malaysian palm oil exports and inventory levels in July surpassed market expectations, with robust exports contributing to a reduction in stockpiles. Exports surged by 39.9% month-on-month. This increase was primarily due to higher orders from key importing countries, such as India and China, for July shipments. Palm oil production has resumed its upward trend, rising 14.0% month-on-month in July to 1.84 million tonnes, signaling the onset of the seasonal high-production phase.
Kenanga also maintains a Neutral outlook with a strong upside catalysts, such as CPO prices surging to trade between RM4,000 - RM4,500
Let’s look at the general gross profit for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Malaysia Gross Profit: The gross profit for Malaysian CPO producers can vary, but it generally ranges from RM 1,500 to RM 2,000 per tonne. This is based on production costs of around RM 2,000 per tonne and average CPO prices ranging from RM 3,500 to RM 4,000 per tonne.
Indonesia Gross Profit: Indonesian CPO producers typically enjoy higher gross profits due to lower production costs. The gross profit generally ranges from USD 400 to USD 600 per tonne. This is based on production costs of around USD 300 per tonne and average CPO prices ranging from USD 700 to USD 900 per tonne.
As you can see the Indonesian Farmers are happily dancing while the Malaysian Farmers will need to monitor their production cost with the 52% increase in Diesel Price in Peninsular Malaysia. Hopefully the volume in revenue can cover this cost.
Time for our plantation to break new frontiers to cover these 52% increase in Production cost. Beside CPO, Plantations can be potentially significant renewable energy players in mid to long to long term. Palm oil wastes to energy, vast landbank for solar energy, CPO for biodiesel like B20 and B60 etc ,
B50 will take up 18 million tonnes out of 48 million Tonnes of Cpo produced in Indonesia or 37.5%
Plus many more lands already see palm oil cut down
1. Over 1,500 acres in Kulai Young Estate sold by Bplant to Ytl power for Data Center (all these oil palms are cut down to make way for Data Center
2. In Bulugan Indonesia out of 33,000 acres 20,000 acres were sold and oil palms cut down to do greentech industrial park
3. In Kedah Ltat sold 1,200 acres palm oil to be converted to Kulim High Tech Park
4. In Selangor /N Sembilan Over 500 acres Boustead took from Bplant to do New Township
Also Jcorp after taking Kulim private hived of 15,000 acres of oil palm in Pengerang to build New Townships
Tmakmur taken private to expand Kota Sas Township in Pahang
Scientex has converted tens of thousands of palm oil in Kedah, Johor and other places to New Townships
And Many many thousands of acres more every where in Kedah, Penang Mainland, Selangor, Cyberjaya and now Johor have seen Mushrooming Data Centers replacing oil palms acre by acre: State by State and now Sarawak also going to build Data Centers and with RE (renewable energy) lots of palm oil lands will turn into solar farm
Where got enough palm oil?
World population continues to increase so demand is fixed with supply dwindling Cpo prices can only go higher and higher
SO THERE IS A LONG TERM STRUCTURAL UPTREND FOR CPO PRICES
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
