KOTA TINGGI: UEM Sunrise Bhd (UEM Sunrise), pemaju hartanah terkemuka negara merancang untuk meninjau lebih banyak simpanan tanah di Lembah Klang pada tahun depan bertujuan meningkatkan bilangan projek hartanahnya di kawasan terbabit.

Pengarah Urusan dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutifnya, Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib berkata, pada masa ini pihaknya sedang mengadakan rundingan dengan beberapa pihak bagi tujuan itu dengan fokus kepada kawasan di luar Kuala Lumpur.

“Sebelum ini, kebanyakan pihak mengatakan kami adalah pemaju yang terlalu berpusat di Johor.

“Jika dinilai daripada aspek simpanan tanah memang benar namun, kami kini telah mula mengambil langkah untuk mempelbagaikan pembangunan kami termasuk di Lembah Klang,” katanya pada media ketika sesi lawatan ke The Maris.

Pada masa ini, UEM Sunrise memiliki simpanan tanah kira-kira 5,260 hektar dengan nilai pembangunan kasar (GDV) sebanyak RM114 bilion di mana majoriti tanah itu terletak di sekitar Johor manakala, baki di Lembah Klang.

Beliau berkata, pada masa ini pihaknya memiliki beberapa projek semasa di sekitar Lembah Klang termasuk Kiara Bay, Solaris Park, Serene Height dan Seri Kembangan di samping projek di Johor seperti Puteri Harbour dan Desaru Coast.

“Untuk pasaran luar negara, kami juga berhasrat untuk mendapatkan lebih banyak projek dan sedang meninjau peluang di Australia terutama di kawasan Sydney di samping beberapa negara lain di United Kingdom dan negara Eropah lain.

“Dalam masa sama, kami sedang mengadakan perbincangan dengan beberapa pihak untuk mengadakan usaha sama bagi melaksanakan projek terbaharu di tanah seluas 12.14 hektar di Durban, Afrika Selatan yang bakal dilancarkan pada 2021,” katanya.

Dalam masa sama, UEM Sunrise berharap mencapai sasaran jualan RM1.2 bilion menjelang hujung tahun ini meskipun dalam situasi ekonomi semasa.

“Pada masa ini, kami sudah mencatatkan antara 80 hingga 90 peratus daripada jumlah itu dan kami akan berusaha keras bagi mencapai jumlah itu dalam baki tempoh yang ada bagi tahun ini,” katanya.

Sementara itu, UEM Sunrise memperkenalkan projek pembangunan gaya resort terkini dikenali The Maris yang akan membabitkan pembinaan kediaman bertanah dan ia bakal dibangunkan secara berperingkat selama 10 tahun di kawasan seluas 92.3 hektar di Desaru Coast, Kota Tinggi.
