Not yet hold warrant because still not listed. If want to convert warrant surely someone need money. You may also ask why he not sell all these years but only recently after free warrant news out.

By right, he doesn't need money for conversion, he can just hold the shares until EX-Date and get more warrants instead. After getting the warrant, he can also sell it in market instead of using money and converting it. Do I make sense?

Actually all his shares disposal were done thru direct deal / off market deal. We can't know who is willing buyer bcos total shares transaction is less than 5% but I think the buyer is a goreng syndicate. The syndicate can't accumulate huge amount of shares via open market bcos liquidity of shares is low and cost is relatively high.

Normally retail investors like us will feel upset and lose confidence if company director was disposed his shares continuously. So the syndicate's intention is try to accumulate Msports shares as much as possible by depressing its share price thru news of share disposal by director plus poor market sentiment before announcement of free warrant ex-date! They have purposely announced the ex-date of free warrant by last friday bcos they foresee market sentiment will be recovered by next week.

Hence, Msports' goreng show will be activated by next week!!!

Logical explanation by boaz. I check other counters which give free warrants recently I find most of their major shareholder hold less than 43% stake which Lin HuoZhi still own. FA wise Msports is making money in latest quarter result and traded at low PE.

Friends whatever people said don't bother. Now Msports is giving free warrants. I believe who buy more will receive more free warrants because as I see in this forum Malaysian investors like to chase warrant. As you can see counters like BIMB-w, MRCB-w and etc there are no shortage of buyers. The same thing will happen when Msport warrant are listed. I believe Msport warrant should worth between 5-10sen when listed if follow other cheap China stocks eg CAP and XDL. As for director disposing as I said he need the money to convert warrant(he is long term investor) which you and I may not do so since we are likely to sell rather than convert warrant.

For those who bought Msports at 18 sen or lower, there is no adjustment on ex-price (reference price) bcoz free warrant exercise price is 18 sen.

For example #1:-

Your buying price = 18 sen
Closing price b4 ex-date = 18 sen

Hence, its ex-price (reference price) is still 18 sen.
Lets say listing price of warrant is 6 sen, so you can make profit about 3 sen per share (16.7% profit).

This example #1 is applicable for those who sell his mother share at 18 sen on ex-date and warrant at 6 sen on listing date.


But if you bought Msports at 18.5 sen and above, there is a price adjustment on ex-price (reference price).

For example #2:-

Your buying price = 24 sen
Closing price b4 ex-date = 24 sen

Hence, its ex-price (reference price) is 22 sen.
Lets say listing price of warrant is 12 sen, so you can make profit about 4 sen per share (16.7% profit) as well.

This example #2 is applicable for those who sell his mother share at 22 sen on ex-date and warrant at 12 sen on listing date.

Please be reminded,when x date, price of mother share will be adjusted too. My prediction mother share will be 12sen and warrant 4 sen after x date. So dont be too greedy. All will be back to square one.I have already experience the same scenario when eagerly chasing for free K1 warrant B several years ago.

bro !!! if u r the director, would you keep yr share more than 40 percent on the total stake?for me i will not, will just open to the public and let the other potential partners or investor therefore, the business only can grow.. we just cant stagnant at the comfort zone. must always explore for more business opportunity.. like it or not.. that is the way to run a business or organisations.. dont forget most of the company's shareholder will not hold more than 40%..

stupid Lin Houzhi disposed so many round of this share; making the share prices sinking more deeper! share value about rm50k now when invested rm200k 5 years ago.
