@ FortuneBlooming: I bought at 72 sen yesterday. I have the same thought as you. The price of JCY will move sideway even if the 3rd quarter result is good because the market have priced in. Seeing Notion making a U turn, to be on the safe side, I sold at 74 sen. Then, I transfer the fund to Dufu-CU at 17 sen. Dufu is a laggard.

Great news from Micron CEO's quarter yesterday result. He provide a good result on data center business growth 50% q-o-q improve on Micron SSD business, likely to increase it ASP price follow WDC & Seagate. Good projection in 2H'24 for all storage memory with raising massive AI data center across the globe.

'Mehrotra said the company’s AI-oriented products were likely to increase in price and that the company’s data center business grew 50% on a quarter-to-quarter basis. “Robust AI-driven demand for data center products is causing tightness on our leading-edge nodes,” Mehrotra said in a statement. “Consequently, we expect continued price increases throughout calendar 2024 despite only steady near-term demand in PCs and smartphones.”

On a call with analysts, Micron said that its high bandwidth memory, the kind used in AI chips, is sold out through 2025. “We believe that Micron will be one of the biggest beneficiaries in the semiconductor industry in the multiyear growth opportunity driven by AI,” Mehrotra said.

A very positive showing AI data center is huge & potential throughout across HBM, SSD & HDD market growth. 50% growth Quarter over Quarter, that a massive revenue spike in storage memory across the globe. Imagine HDD will take ~90% of all storage memory in AI data centers, how huge the potential opportunities of it?

otoh, on this part I'm kind of thinking🤔 in a somewhat different way

like, like I kind of sense that many guys might still be a bit hesitant becos they believe that a not so good 3q report might trigger a big pullback

but then, quite on the contrary, I think that once they realise or believe that Q3 report has already been factored in, they might just decide to whack hantam much more

anyway, even Sifu OTB has also already affirmed that the jcy chart looks "fantastic", which for me is already more than good enough, while a good 3q report would for me only be like the icing on the cake🍰

Be steady, JCY still riding on AI data center HDD theme + pure manufacturer HDDs which support 25% of world HDDs part with 10000 AI DC building requirement. As long as Notion share price continue up in gradual mode, more genuine buyers continue buy Notion shares, eventually JCY will look very cheap & ride along together with Dufu as well. Continue hold, add for next 6mths till Feb'25 Qtr result out, will show how promising it will be.

Refer to Micron qtr result future guidance, it stated just 3mths vs last QoQ, revenue jump 50% QoQ on AI dara center with more & more AI DCs customer require + to raise ASP price following WDC & Seagate practise.
So just be patience, hold & wait for coming next Aug'24 Qtr result revenue & earning out for better future forecast guidance.

There is a high market expectations on smartphone & PC revenue will boost Micron, even it earning reported beat expectations but the sales is flat temporarily. Don't underestimate coming Apple iPhone 16 with AI features, there will be massive growth of loyal Apple fans to queue & buy this new iPhone release in Sept24, then Micron, Sk Hynix & Samsung sales orders will shoot up the sky once ot get crazy.
If anyone do deeper research, almost all US banker, analysts, fund mgr are buying Apple shares in big volumes, raise it target price to $260 to $275 range by early next year 2025, expected massive buying iPhone16 with higher ASP + raising demands.

I believe Micron will be great as well in later this year. The key important here is HDD, Micron reported 50% QoQ revenue up alone in AI data center business, and now we are buying and holding JCY, Notion and Dufu direct correlated with AI DC.. so the power of HDDs, SDDs volume will be massive big in coming year end 2024.
