I wonder if the major difference is in the way the management of both companies are? Clearly, IFMSC seems to be more professionally run than CENSOF. I'm seeing more and more that investment into counters with sound management experience and expertise are a definite win, at least in the long-term. I remember when I was in the IT industry way back in the early 90's, IFCA then was private, and already making waves with their sound management principles and practice. So I am not surprised that this is being well reflected in their stock price.

I only regret that I did not buy IFMSC and instead loaded up on CENSOF. Got taken in by the hype. Ah, another expensive lesson, with hopefully some sort of decent returns by end of this year.

lols maybe u should study why ifca rocket so high is not bcox of GST revenue, is just small portion of revenue for IFCA. The main reason is dey secured many China developer company. !!

Malaysia, Feb 7: While businesses are tightening up for the impending GST, they are also hoping that the government would be more lenient as it will be quite challenging in the first year of its implementation. The Customs Department is open to assist, but delaying the implementation, however, is not in the picture.

 

Customs Department GST director Dato’ Subromaniam Tholasy​ told MALAYSIA SME®, “It is close to impossible for the government to delay it. Businesses have been investing on the software as well as training and it is costly.”

 

He also highlighted that the GST was not an overnight decision and that the preparation has been going on for the past 10 years. “It is a long-term thing.”

 

“With the oil price coming down and the currency depreciating, we can’t afford for it [GST] to be delayed. The government’s revenue will be impacted due to the drop of tax collection. You should look at the bigger picture. The GST will boost the country’s revenue,” he opined.
