Fair Value by bankers who are considered expects are very conservative. This will often change when there is any mergers, etc etc.
I say the fair value is more than RM4.50

Potential of uptrend is better in BIMB than MBSB ..... just wait and observe. Dividend payment payout is also on the uptrend. A lot of happening in a few weeks time.

Banking sources said the two blocks of shares are likely to be valued between 1.6 times and 1.8 times price to book value.
Bimb have to fork out 2.7 billion to own 100% if the deal done at 1.8 times price to book.This may require a rights issue.Maybank forecasts Bank Islam FY14 net profit RM558 mil.Asuming a payout ratio of 50% the bank dividend flow to BIMB would be RM279mil when wholly owned by the latter. Analysts said the proposed move was a positive one, as it would plug "minority leakage".

chang21 Kfima is a fundamental stock and best entry point is 2.10 but looks like it is about to take off, I do not know the target but let see whether it brecks 2.15 or not tomorrow.To me when I invest in any stock, market up also happy and down also happy,if you are holding a fundamental stock.BIMB I also believe it will go up and by next week we will see a clearer picture.I also agree with you instead on jumping to another stock we should keep the one we have confident, bottom line is making money.
