Syed, my 2 sen observation. Saw bimb running up. Wanted to go in at rm4 but too scared. Bought by local fund manager. When they sold at its high... Another local fund manager took over and takaful is running up like crazy! So, bimb will drop as profit already in coffers do those who play contra with bimb will suffer. most smaller banks trying to get their liquidity up. Takaful is insurance. If you have to get a halal counter ... Not many right? :).
I sold mbsb cos didn't give dividend. But bimb and takaful have been in my radar.
I also value apprentice sharing

BIMB is a good counter, did the right thing by buying back its shares at a good price of about 3.00, considered cheap. However at PE of about 20 now (most banks PE below 16)and rights coming up, its on a high side.
It looks like dropping below 4.50.
I will only take a serious look at it when its below 4.00

Bloomberg today said Malaysia GDP dropped. Said India and Indonesia was struggling with currency carnage and next is Malaysia and Thailand....
If you note, foreign funds are selling...EPF, khazanah, etc are having to pick it up. Look at AXIATA sell and who pick up on 16 August posting.

Prices will rise again, So those with funds buy now when price is still low. Agree with Syed that once everything is finalized you will reap the benefits. Just be patient.
