KLCI down more than 2%, TM also laosai, all the funds also not enough to support KLCI today....what more Gamuda....institutions and big players already cutting loss and running....like LGE said, GLC disposing equity to raise cash for country.....don't expect any bailouts like BN crony time

i think, as investor (value), It’s our job to catch falling knives, That’s how we get bargains. but have to do it carefully....if wait till all dust settles & all the uncertainty resolved, once that happens then the share price will have rebounded.

@tiow buy on rebound not on weakness...if falling knife is due to sentiment, then sure, go ahead and catch it but in this case the falling knife is due to a real reason....and the losses have not even been fully priced in yet...so it will continue to fall and fall.....the bottom is yet to be in sight

Recently, the new administration in Kuala Lumpur has adopted radical measures to review and terminate a number of multi-billion Ringgit duly-signed contracts of infrastructural projects in the name of cost cutting and the so-called "saving" the nation. However, it does not take into the consideration the complexity and seriousness of the aftermath caused to various stakeholders in the economy, be it company's shareholders, potential local and foreign investors, companies' employees and the public who shall be benefited from the completion of projects. The ruling should just stop putting the blame on its predessecors. Be humble and pragmatic. Or else, it will totally tarnish its credibility and reputation. LGE argued that the potential 20 thousands jobless will be directly rehired once a retendering process is done. If only the economy could function in that simple manner according to his logic, the world would not have any frictional unemployment. I seriously doubt where the standard of "rule of law" and "go by contract" is?

There is no support at 2 ringgit....the moment there is another selldown later or tomorrow, all those queuing at 2 ringgit will run and it will plunge further...there is no catalyst for investment in the near-term....LGE already destroyed Gamuda but it is Tony Pua's open letter that made sure Gamuda will not revive for some time....
