KUALA LUMPUR (July 31): The Selangor state government has rejected the application for the Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link (PJD Link) project, said its caretaker Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

In a statement on Monday (July 31), Amirudin said the decision was made as the administration is “not satisfied with the plans proposed”, especially in relation to its social impact on Petaling Jaya residents.

I love highways that cut through KL city from west to east, from north to south. I can drive from my house to most part of Klang Valley without the need to wait for traffic light to turn green.

Mentality of most PJ residents is why should I sacrify for the benefits of others? If the MRT, LRT has no station close enough within walking distance, why should I spport those mass rapid transport? This is exactly why India farmers refuse development in their farmland. This is why rural India cannot develop.
