So imagine danny tan sold to 3rd party at 0.81.

Why ask his friend sell over so many days? Why not one shot buy it back, or over 2-3 days.

Why need 3rd party, just transfer to son and buy back in 2 transactions can d.

If he selling at discount to friend, like that he want to insult lim wee chai by telling him, other people i sell cheap, you i sell expensive?

Obviously not the case. He is selling to friendly 3rd parties because he needs to keep the float at 25%. In the meantime, he can keep buying back the cheap shares, while the shares held by 3rd parties are effectively frozen.

Danny can't transfer to family members whether son, daughter, father, mother, brother or sister or even sister-in-law or brother-in-law as they together are regarded as persons in concert and cannot hold in aggregate more than 75% in order to maintain listing. Company cannot buy back shares until Danny unload to a "third party" because each time the Company buys back, Danny's percentage holding increases as treasury shares are excluded in the percetage holding computation.

90 sen big road block today even first thing in the morning there were already over 500,000 shares offered for sale at 90 sen, thus not possible for me to get that price if I were to try. Maybe next week you can but I want to free up capital and look for opportunities elsewhere.

ivan9511, there's a pattern play on Tropicana. The share buy backs will go for days and then suddenly stop and price will trend down to around 82 sen, the price Danny previously sold to cronies. This is the best time to buy and hold until share buy backs push up price again.
