KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd's (KLK) group chief financial officer (CFO) Soon Wing Chong has resigned from the plantation company with effect from June 30.

It said on Monday that Soon's resignation was to pursue other career opportunities.

Following his resignation, Leong Sean Meng shall be the acting group CFO with immediate effect.

“He shall also continue in his current role as group chief accountant,” it said.

KL Kepong said Leong holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) majoring in mathematics and physics from the University of Malaya and qualified as an accountant from the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Prior to joining KL Kepong, he was an accountant in the public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand for 10 years.

Leong has been with KLK group since 1991 and was appointed group chief accountant on Oct 1, 2016.

Danny Tan has to sell down in order for Company to continue share buy back so as to maintain the minimum 25% public spread. If the public spread level dips below 25% the Company's risk been suspended and ultimately delisted.

The total number shares is excluding treasury shares. Each time share buy back takes place the total number of shares shrink and if Danny doesn't sell, his shareholding percentage will increase above 75% resulting in public spread below 25%.

good results and strong cash .
But never get any little bit luck during Bursa hot time for many years not only this bull last few years also

like I said many loss company share price can limit upppppppppppppppppp
for best example is Sendai
Sendai last time loss until want die liao but got people promote Sendai price up from 45sen until near 1.50sen

So Tropicana keep improve but share price keep going lowest history

If I got enough money I will push up Tropicana to 1 ringgit

Information is now out that Danny Tan sold 1.2 million shares at 0.82 in two tranches of 600,000 shares on 11/7 and 16/7 off market in direct dealings, most likely to a friendly party.
