ann joo is currently trading at 1x NTA and southern steel is trading at 0.8x NTA.
if both trading at 1x nta, tp for s.steel should be at 1.62

In other country, company can always easy to have M&A. because the shareholder and management are in the same race. But Malaysia is different, company are owned by different race... Government want all the company to be controlled by Malay, and the will stop Chinese company to merge with each other, because they don't want chinese to monopoly the market. At the end, they will use Khazanah, EPF to support some weak Malay company to takeover good chinese company... and few years later, the good company will become weak company again.

This is not true, SSteel is not even finished with the installation of HRC production facilities & is now having argument with the solution provider. Please check it out from the Bursa announcement.

Since the investment in the failed project is $427 million ,the provision so far is only 141 million,I fear they could made another provision in the next quarter.
