Last year newspaper said LBS actually worth 4.80, base on 25% discount, the ultimate target price should be 3.60.

Acquire the share = Dividend.
Acquire share is to increase equity company share
Dividend is to pay some earning share to distribute with shareholder.

Both is always good for the shareholder. For me I will prefer Acquire Share because itss represent the worthy of the share value.

Be patient, be patient, next week the price will drop down to 1.68, I am waiting for it to drop to 1.65 b4 buying in, may be have to wait till mid of June, but is worth waiting ....... Now I started to feel good about this counter bcos the price keep going up and down, this is how we can make money.

oldman1010, I think it would be better to put your money in EPF or ASM to earn more secured dividends rather than speculating over minimal returns as your perceived outlook of LBS is nothing good.

Once the market price drop director will buy back stock to accumulate the equity of company share. It's to stabilize the market price from the actual company share equity.

Yeah, RHB Investment Bank, OSK, AIA Bhd and Dimensional Emerging Market Funds are some of the shareholders noted in the latest Annual Report.
Looks like being investment grade for some of these funds.

There are not enough institutional investors, so not likely to see much upward movement. Moreover Lim family seldom likes to play up the counter.Why should they push up and let you sell unless they are also speculators.

this counter is like what chinaese said " JI LE" mean the tip of the chicken wing. eat no meat , throw away reluctant.
I like this counter not because of its operating profit, it is its high NAV , 6 sen + 30% eps as dividen and the directors are keep on buying the company shares, no disposal.
this morning , i came across 1 old article about LBS, reminding me of its not less than RM5.00 asset value per share in china . without any hesitation, I entered another 25000 shares at @ 1.70
now I try to search for the same article to read one more time carefully but cann't find. really hantu.....
this counter , I share the same FEELING as all of you. It is just a real none other than real "JI LE".
anyhow , bought already bought, we have to be patient. believe it is a goose that will one day lay a golden egg. I think this egg shuld be damn big, as big as the ostrich.one or may be bigger.
