Being a substantial shareholder, Tong is only doing his part to realise the great potential of Star. The Board should take note what Tong had proposed in his article. Star belongs to all shareholders, not only to a few major shareholders.

Before The Edge bought Star shares the share was trading at around 30cts for a long time. Lately Tong's write up on Star has attracted a lot of attention. I wonder what is happening to the Star new building in Section 13 PJ which is worth more than 130 million.

The Board has done a good job in preserving so much cash in Star. The owning of many valuable assets comes as a huge bonus for the co to realise their values for the benefit of the shareholders. Tong has good ideas in fulfilling this endeavour and it's high time that shareholders should be rewarded accordingly.

With TKO holding 5.4% stake, we can expect to see the board acting in the best interest of shareholders or else TKO will be there to provide the check and balance. STAR is grossly undervalued. Over time, the share price of STAR should gradually rise to reflect its intrinsic value. If the assets are revalued and including the current value of cash, it is easily more than RM1. The business is free.

Below 40sen target price coming sooner than expected after 42.5 sen DONE and only last minute jacking up the price to 43sen. 43.5 sen and 42 sen are SENDIWARA TRADING .Need to wait until next week to drop below 40sen a realistic figure unlike some calling it to drop below 20 sen.WORLD MARKET CRASHES also cannot find STAR MEDIA trading at 20sen

Opr/ interest rate up should be good for star company… This is a cash rich company with no debt..Even a 4% interest on Rm 365million cash is around Rm 15 million annually income…

Anyway MCA withdrawing from the STATE ELECTION will save them alot of money so NO NEED TO DISPOSE of ASSETS or SHARES to fund the election campaign. This is a GOOD MOVE by MCA so possible STAR MEDIA shares will run UP.
