The Board of Directors of MPCB wishes to announce that on 27 November 2014, Taman Bandar Baru Masai Sdn Bhd (“TBBM”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of MPCB, has been served with an Originating Summon No.: 24FC-1845-11/2014 (“Originating Summon”) for an application of order for public auction of the 7 undeveloped plots of land measuring approximately 188 acres in Mukim Plentong, Daerah Johor Bahru, Johor charged to ADSB under the provision of the National Land Code.

The Company is seeking legal advice on the Originating Summon and will make further announcements of any new development.

This announcement is dated 27 November 2014.

The Left of Nusa Damai is Bandar Sri Alam by UM Land (privatised). Current price here is RM70 psf

Over in Kota Masai (ECOWORLD) more inferior lands are sold now at RM45 psf

If Reserve Price for Nusa Damai land is RM14.60 at Court Auction - It Will Be Very Cheap.

To Calvin these are some of the very best & finest lands in Iskandar - Equivalent To Desa Park City in Kl or Tanjung Bungah in Penang

Property firm Malaysia Pacific Corp Bhd (MPCorp) has fallen into Practice Note 17 (PN17) status today after its external auditors expressed a disclaimer opinion on its latest audited accounts for the financial year ended June 30, 2014 (FY14).

In a filing with the stock exchange today, MPCorp said its external auditor Messrs BDO has not been able to obtain sufficient appropriate audit evidence to provide a basis for an audit opinion.

Messrs BDO highlighted that the current liabilities of MPCorp at the group and company level have exceeded their current assets by RM262.971 million and RM89.571 million respectively.
