US gov's debts keep increasing and gold is already trending higher because it's impossible USA will ever be able to reduce their dependence on raising money to run their country by issuing more public debts (treasury notes). On the other hand, China is the largest holder of US treasury debt papers and China has slowed down in buying the treasury debts while recently given signal to the global markets that it MAY sell/offloading the treasury debt papers causing a lot of panic and that is where bondholders looking to put their money into the centuries old SAFE HAVEN.....GOLD.....our solid gold.....how much is Bornoil holding gold contracts now? Japan is being seconded by China just end of last year. Both Japan & China together hold more than US$2 trillions worth of US treasury debts. Confrontational moves between the 2 main superpowers are actually a game of cat & mouse. NK is also just a tool.

China (1.09 trillions) + Japan (1.06 trillions) = 2.15 trillions out of 19.8 trillions of US total gross national debts.

Both are the largest creditors to USA representing 10.85% of its debts. What would u do if ur ahLong keep giving u more loans and suddenly one of it considers to stop giving u more money? Is USA going to make a move against China? Who will suffer more? Just a decision by China to halt purchasing US debts will trigger a trade wars and all other countries will suffer. This would not be well played so the superpowers will have to find other ways to threaten each other so as to mend the situations leaning towards their own sake.
