Yong Tai announced on last Friday that it has signed deals with China-based Shenzhen Kangtai Biological Products Co Ltd (SZKT). Through this deal, the group will be SZKT's partner in Malaysia to conduct Phase III clinical trials and exclusive commercialisation of the Covid-19 vaccine.
The group also added that it has entered into an advisory and service agreement with Klinsel Sdn Bhd in order to support the collaboration. This means Yong Tai appointed Klinsel as the contract research organisation for the proposed clinical study of the Covid-19 vaccine to be conducted in Malaysia.

Klinsel Introduction：
Klinsel is a Malaysian CRO that provides efficient and cost-effective clinical research services to multinational pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies looking to outsource their late phase clinical development activities to Malaysia. The company was incorporated on 7 May 2009 and is one of the first local CROs in this region established in response to the increasing demands from both clinicians as well as the industry for high quality clinical research – on time and within budget.

Khairy clarified that any local company is allowed to negotiate with international companies to be their agent or distributor of Covid-19 vaccines in Malaysia.

"We cannot control if they want to make a commercial arrangement with other vaccine manufacturers from outside of Malaysia. But they must get the necessary approvals from Malaysia's regulators," he said

（香港8日讯）香港上市的亚洲电视控股脱售永大(YONGTAI,7066,主板产业组)7.03%股权，套现2900万令吉。

亚洲电视今日发文告表示，全资附属公司丰捷发展于12月7日期间于市场上进行一连串交易，共出售7320万8000股永大集团股份，平均售价为每股39.8仙。

出售所得款项总额合共约为2900万令吉（相当于约5500万港元）。

于出售事项后，亚视仍持有7682万2000股永大集团股份，占股由14.4%降至7.37%。

出售事项后，集团预期确认计入其他综合收益的税前收益约2700万元人民币(约3300万港元或1681万令吉)，乃根据永大集团股份之收购价与出售价(不包括交易成本)之间的差额计算得出。公司拟将出售事项所得款项净额用作偿还借贷及作为一般营运资金。

由于出售事项于市场上进行，故该公司并不知悉永大集团股份买方之身份。据董事作出一切合理查询后所深知、尽悉及确信，永大集团股份之买方及彼等最终实益拥有人均为独立第三方。

永大今日中午股价下跌2.5仙至36仙。

1)How long it need to register a product in Malaysia ya?

2)To register, do you need Malaysia clinical data ya? If need, how long a clinical trial will take ?

Health DG already announced :-

-The vaccine is an inactivated virus vaccine that is developed by the Institute of Medical Biology Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (IMBCAMS) in Beijing (China).
-on Dec 10, the Medical Research Ethical Committee (MREC) will look into the law and research ethics. Once approved, we can probably start the study by end of this month or next year,”

The vaccine by SKZ have not even started. The phase trial for 1 and 2 is not begin yet compared to Pfizer.
