no matter where is the support, short term is not a good time to buy in. there is no better prospect can be seen. property market is weak. this will last until 2019, at least. some more if the encore attendance is not as good as expected, it will turn out to be a huge burden to yt.
so just stay away from this counter.

if encore melaka rebranding can work... it can also attract Hong Kong/Taiwan Artists (popular or former artists) held a concert at encore melaka.. it become an alternative place beside Genting Star Arena..

managing a theatre is very costly. the owner must ensure the hall to be occupied most of the time. they need to make sure there are events planned and confirmed at least 1 year ahead. then they can publish the yearly calendar for ticket sales. all these can't be done overnight. the theatre need to build up their reputation so that they can attract reputable performers to come and use their venue. without reputable and well known performers they can't attract audience to come.

first few years of running theatre mostly is in loss except they are engaged with well known artists/performers which can attract high traffic of audience.

Pls dont mislead the others. The theater is built mainly for their own show, as doing a lots of promotion by giving up their show day to another event during the "weekend of school holiday" (I will think is free and without much well planning). It means they r frustrated on the bad selling and suffering badly in financial. Think wisely when u invest
