@Whey Whey: Pointless to predict where it goes tomorrow. If you think worth keeping for long term then go in whatever the price point is. Price is what you pay, value is what you get.
@VSLSB I'm only discussing with other friends here that really interested not those troll lol! And plus predictions is fun. Not like the shares will definitely move like what i said xD Just chill and have some fun while sitting watching magni show tomorrow onwards haha..
apple168: Peg the ringgit? With what reserves? As of today, 1USD=RM4.18. Nike was one of the few who openly appealed to President Trump to stop the trade war against China so there will definitely be some sympathy among the Chinese public. With the US imposing tariffs on sports clothing from China, Nike would draw more from Vietnam which benefits Magni! Furthermore the Olympics is coming next year which will be a bonus to them as well.
just look at Magni’s balance sheet, it is obvious this is an undervalued stock. The market trend/Nike retail is seasonal. Should not be a valuation point of a stock.
apple168: Both Nike and Apple are AGAINST the trade war against China. Since US is taxing sporting goods from China, they would be more inclined to take more from Vietnam!
apple168: He can shout whatever he wants because frankly at the end of the day, he either gets the deal with China done or he can kiss his re-election good bye. Anyhow at the mean time, I am appreciating his efforts in strengthening the USD which means better profits for Magni.
I m telling you all unselfishly again! How big is China market? China population? Expecting Next move from China is to ban all US products from selling in China if trade war heating up! With China currency deprecation, Nike and other US products will become more and more expensive in China, in turn hurting the overall sales of Nike and causing inventories to increase!
Apple: What are you worry about ? kept commenting the same thing? I/we understood what you have commented against Magni a few weeks ago and now left us to decide whether buy or sell. If you worry the risks, then sell your stake on Magni.
apple168: You have just discredited yourself. If you have nothing better to argue against their points, you should refrain from making further comments. There is a saying it is smarter to say nothing, than saying something which is means nothing.
As of right now, USD continues to strengthen against MYR, additional 10% tariffs on remaining imported items from China which will encourage Nike to take from Vietnam, continued sales growth of Nike in China as per latest QR, Nike against trade war with China which will create sympathy for Nike in China, upcoming Olympics which will boost sales even more.
Plus bonus issue and share split as cherry on top.
I pity you let your blind hatred get the best of you. Probably it is better you take your sympathy elsewhere ( like your Hibiscus, Genting, Ajinomoto and all other stocks you recommended). Most of them are reeling from losses since the last time you recommended them. Lucky you are not in China, the CCP prolly will make you disappear for causing unsuspecting traders for losing so much money.
In the midst of escalating trade war, the best strategy is “hit and run”. In other words, once hit 5-10% profit (better than local bank fix deposit), sell and lock profits. Cheers and embrace the trump-ish economy!
Stocks on Radar - Magni-Tech Industries (7087) Author: AmInvest Publish date: Mon, 26 Aug 2019, 8:44 AM
Magni-Tech Industries shot up and formed a long white candle in its lastest session. With an RSI level above 60%, it may continue to climb above the resistance price of RM5.25. If this happens, its short-term target price will be RM5.48 followed by RM5.71. Support price is anticipated at RM5.02, whereby traders may exit on a breach to avoid the risk of a further correction.
It is said that Yale University Professor KO once took out a one-dollar bank note. Please ask for the price of this bank note, starting at 5 cents. The increase is in 5 cents, and the highest bidder gets this $1 bank note, but the bid "highest and second highest" must pay the auctioneer the amount of the bid, which means that the second highest person must pay and can be obtained.
This kind of unique dollar auction has invited everyone's interest. Many students started bidding. For convenience, I will only list the highest and second highest bids. Student A bids 5 cents Student B bids 10 cents Student A goes out to 15 cents Student B goes out to 20 cents...
When the two students reached 45 cents and 50 cents, they started to feel a little bit wrong. At this time, if no one gives a higher price, the professor will lose 50 cents. At this time, A wants to lose 45 cents if he does not bid, so he continues to bid 55 cents, I thought I might earn 45 cents.
Of course, B is not willing to lose, he has been 5 cents more than A. When A goes out to 95 cents and B goes out to 100 cents, B can't make any money, and A thinks if he doesn't bid. To lose 95 cents, you may lose only 5 cents if you continue to bid.
Then A continues to out to 105 cents... B continues to go to 110 cents... ......
The last dollar was auctioned for $20! At first the students just had the opportunity to pay a few hundred cents for the professor's dollar.
The most subtle design of this auction is that the second highest bidder also needs to pay the price he shouted, but in the end nothing can be obtained.
Many people just fall into the trap because they are in the trap. The baby's heart is bitter, but the baby doesn't say it. It will drag those who want to take advantage of it into this money game, and eventually lose both.
In fact, at first, students are feeling interesting and thinking that they can even make a small profit, but when the bids going higher, they actually feel that they are in trouble, but in order not to let themselves losing up, hence, continuing to bid, and finally, regret to participate in this auction.
In reality, why do people fall into the money game trap again and again? We believe this is likely due to GREED! In order to earn pocket money, the result is "winning the sugar, losing the whole factory."
There is “no elevator to success, you hv to take the stairs”.
apple168: What you just posted made no sense. Tariffs are aimed at China, not Vietnam! President Trump's endgame is to contain China. Just a few days ago he just asked American companies to leave China. This would leave Magni at a better standing since if Nike does take President Trump's directive and get out of dodge, they would have to source garments from Vietnam to compensate whatever lost production!
You really should post one dollar money game story to your recommended stocks. God knows people there need it.
