Riverstone is selling at Sing 78 cents which equivalents to RM 2.45 based on exchnage rate of S=RM 3.15. If TG selling at RM 1.05, is this a huge discount. This huge discount is due to a major funds selling down their shares.

Riverstone vs Taikor. Riverstone is smaller size mah. Mana ada so high capitalisation like Taikor. Saham lesser of course price higher lah. Same as Kossan ini macam size only lah. Correct?

CGS-CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd analyst Ivy Ng Lee Fang wrote in a note on Tuesday that CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, Top Glove and Supermax were the top three short-selling targets in terms of trading value on Bursa last week (July 11 to 15).

"The total trading value of short-selling fell 30.2% wow (week-on-week) to RM77.3 million.

"The top three short-sell sectors in terms of value were financial services, technology and healthcare," Ng said.

In securities trading terminology, short selling involves the sale of borrowed securities at higher prices by the borrower, in anticipation that prices of the securities will fall.

The borrower will subsequently buy back the securities at a lower price to make a profit, based on the prices the securities were sold and bought back.

Top Glove and Hartalega are also constituents of the 30-stock FBM KLCI, which had on Tuesday closed down 0.78 point or 0.05% at 1,428.76.

Just read the above report. I wonder how long is the contract for those borrower that shorted TG. I think already quite sometime Liao. No need to return back the share meh? Haiya.

Stingray, Shorties converting their Usd 1= Rm4.45 to play shorting Bursa. It’s very cheap playing Rm shares for them. You don’t tell me you don’t know this???

and with the TG people keep mopping up the shares from open market, the float will become lesser and lesser. only today I think more than 5m shares bought by their directors. Haiya.

Ular, you cakap true kah? It’s not understandable how you can profit from Fuelcell or Grab stock in Us with a few cents profits ? Baru dapat Berberapa sen , sudah Boleh jual? Us stocks commission payments are higher than Bursa stocks commission. Ragu-ragu dengan your story lah. A lot of doubts about your Us stocks a few cents profits can’t cover payment for stocks trading commission charges lah???
