As long as exercise price is higher than mkt price, value of warrant is confined to its time premium. The longer the time to maturity, the higher shall be the value. In this case, 2.50 vs 2.06. Cant expect price of warrant to be very good until and unless mkt price picks up.

price adjusted to rm 1.86 to take account of the subdivision share.

@tradingnewcomer so far in my experience when spilt or bonus issue the average price always not reflected correctly. I have to keep my on ledger.

Agreed but remember the last closing is 7.44 and after subdivision 1.86
it mean even after subdivision listing today still rm2.....making profit liao..
with Warrant to follow.

So since rm2 is above the subdivision rm1.86
Just take profit 1st and buyback anytime we deem it is good time to reenter

for me....Warrant is a freebies and usually given out together with Bonus issue/Split Share as reward to dedicated investors.

A warrant is a medium to raise money to fund company's next capital requirement. So they issue a free warrant to you today, with the expectation business is doing well and mother share price will grow to surpass warrant conversation price. Means let say Kpower share by end of the year at RM 4. ANd u got a free warrant today, so u have a high tendency to convert the warrant at RM 2.50 to mother share, and u AUTO gain the difference RM 4- Rm 2.50 = RM 1.50 per share. What the company got than, the money required for the next capital expenditure.
