Those who sold still hold hope in the warrants yet to be listed. To get good price for warrant, mother share must be high. Do support the uptrend even though u have sold!

Some people here are recommending to take profit and buy lower later. By now we should know that for KPOwer it wont work becoz Kpower is moving in a strong general uptrend.

@fsingmun...yes u can trade. Warrant got expiry date too. Take note of the expiry date. Trade before the date or convert to mother share.

Warrant can be traded like normal share but with expiration date usually 3 or more year.

Expiry date of Kpower is 5 yr from date of issuance. In general, when mother share price is expected to go up, it is better to buy warrants to take advantage of the leverage effect.

SCIB looks bullish right now, even directors bought in last week. However in view of a company's growth potential, I see Kpower as the clear winner. Renewable E. sector and diversifications into health and logistic. Kpower growth could be very much like Penta, frontken. Once you sell it'll be extremely hard to time the market and get back in the uptrend ride.

Many yrs back, mbsb issued free warrant with exercise price 1.00. When price of mother share was around 1.45, warrant was around 0.45. When mother share up 2.45, warrant was around 1.45. With 45sen, u make 1 instead of making 1 using 1.45.

Mayzam, thamcarmen, you will entitle for all the right, bonus, Div bought before the Ex date, on or after ex date, the shares you buy or sell are excluded from any entitlement until the next annoucement of entitlement by company.

kytan, if wait for warrant to list, might be expensive by then already. That's why the rush to buy in on 11th Jan. At current mother share price, warrant price might be RM0.57. If Kpower = RM2.50, RM2.75, RM3.00; Kpower-WA = RM0.75, RM0.93, RM1.12.

So, you telling us here that the last closing price a day before Warrant listing on 26 Jan is crucial to next day Warrant pricing?

Or need to have average last 5 day pricing or?

Warrant price only depend on the mother price at that moment, simply said. Other than that, also depends on average volatility of the stock, risk free rate, exercise price and time to maturity.
