Indonesia got deal with Sinovac and not CanSino. Secondly. dpharma and pharma don't need to sign any deal with other vaccine company because they are appointed by government and the deal will be handled by government. They most probably will handle distribution to all government hospital. All other company that signed MOU are like parallel import. It is like whether you want to buy your iphone from Apple Malaysia or from local handphone shop which shipped the unit from other country. Anyway, it is only MOU. Not a confirm deal to distribute or resell. And KKM need to approve. Think buy some micro fibre cloth from Taobao and sell here???? dick head...

Last month, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the government had agreed that the facilities owned by Duopharma Biotech Bhd and Pharmaniaga would be used for bottling the vaccine.

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 23): Pharmaniaga Bhd says it is all geared up to make the necessary changes to its existing plants that would enable them to undertake fill and finish process for COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it is developed, its acting managing director, Mohamed Iqbal Abdul Rahman said.

He said the group had presented to the National Science Council its plan, capacity and capabilities for the purpose.

“This is part of the short-term plan of the group in addressing the urgent need for the COVID-19 vaccine," he told Bernama in a written reply when asked on Pharmaniaga's future plans.

Last month, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the government had agreed that the facilities owned by Duopharma Biotech Bhd and Pharmaniaga be used for bottling the vaccine.

Khairy reportedly explained that the two companies were chosen as both are government-linked — Duopharma is owned by Permodalan Nasional Bhd and Pharmaniaga is owned by Boustead Holdings Bhd — and currently have unused capacity that can be directed towards this purpose

All those with MOU news gap up and directors toke chance to dispose their shares and days later price dropped back. Namely AT, Saninchi, Anzo, PDZ, Mqtech and many more. And until today none of the MOUs has materialised.
What about this Solution with the vaccine MOU? Your guess should be better than mine.

KUALA LUMPUR: Pharmaniaga Bhd bersedia untuk membuat perubahan yang diperlukan kepada kilang sedia ada yang akan membolehkan mereka menjalankan proses pembangunan pembotolan untuk vaksin COVID-19 apabila ia dibangunkan.

Pemangku Pengarah Urusannya, Mohamed Iqbal Abdul Rahman, berkata kumpulan telah membentangkan kepada Majlis Sains Negara mengenai pelan, kapasiti dan keupayaannya untuk tujuan berkenaan.

"Ini adalah sebahagian daripada pelan jangka pendek kumpulan untuk menangani keperluan mendesak kepada vaksin COVID-19," katanya.

Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi Khairy Jamaluddin sebelum ini berkata, kerajaan bersetuju bahawa kemudahan yang dimiliki oleh Duopharma Biotech Bhd dan Pharmaniaga akan digunakan untuk pembotolan vaksin.

Khairy dilaporkan menjelaskan bahawa kedua-dua syarikat itu dipilih berikutan kedua-duanya berkaitan dengan kerajaan.

Duopharma dimiliki oleh Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) dan Pharmaniaga dimiliki oleh Boustead Holdings Bhd, yang pada masa ini mempunyai kapasiti yang tidak digunakan yang dapat diarahkan untuk tujuan ini.

Mengenai perancangan kumpulan pada masa depan pula, Mohamed Iqbal berkata Pharmaniaga, syarikat farmaseutikal terbesar di Malaysia, dijangka mewujudkan kemudahan vaksin halal pertama di dunia, disasarkan siap pada 2022.

"Pada 2018, Pharmaniaga mengumumkan pelan untuk mendirikan kilang vaksin. Sejak itu, kami telah selesai menjalankan kajian terperinci yang diperlukan dan menjalin kerjasama dengan pengeluar vaksin antarabangsa," katanya.

Selain itu, Pharmaniaga mempunyai pelan jangka panjang untuk pertumbuhan mampan dan menetapkan enam teras strategik untuk memacu syarikat ke peringkat lebih tinggi.

Sebagai syarikat berkaitan kerajaan, Pharmaniaga komited untuk terus memberikan standard perkhidmatan tertinggi untuk membolehkan Kementerian Kesihatan memberi tumpuan kepada penyampaian penjagaan kesihatan, dengan Pharmaniaga sebagai rakan logistik pilihannya.

"Walaupun telah mendapat kontrak logistik dan pengedaran sehingga November 2024, kami berharap dengan rekod prestasi, infrastruktur yang siap, teknologi maklumat bersepadu dan yang paling penting, modal insan yang berpengalaman, akan menempatkan kami dengan baik untuk mendapatkan potensi lanjutan selepas tempoh ini," katanya.

u see the run up from RM1.xx to RM3.5, had been consolidating at RM2.8-Rm3 for a few weeks d. I think second run up is just going to happen. with vaccine news coming in hot, no doubt, i think will easily hit RM6. First is the "goreng" factor. Just by having vaccine news, will go up to RM4-5. PE usually will double without even earning yet. Then when come real earning, i think can hit RM6-8.
