can i ask a stupid question?

Assuming Company A's EPS is RM2
Current share price is RM20

Hence the market appraises Company A's PE at 20/2 = 20

ok....let's say next year...the result is the same

also EPS 2,

so if we follow PE 20, that means the market will do nothing with the share price of RM20.

Means no up in share price.

But leh, the company really perform wor, he got RM2 wor....so how leh? can help me ah?

Alex Foo, it means the company earnings didnt get improve but continuously earn the same profit as previous.

For me, if the company earnings didn't get improve (if 1 or 2 quarter consider ok lar), I don't think it deserves that high of PE (PE20).

There are a lot of good company out there why dont give up a company without growth and with high PE

I believed the high competitive in telecommunications industry will cause MAXIS, DIGI's profit margin weakening further...Those company market share already high enough, it is very hard to have explosively growth...
But Nestle is good lar, ppl cannot live without their products, can sapu when market collapse! hahaha
