然而巴克莱资本(Barclays Capital)分析师表示，油价回升时间或比市场预期更早。预计油价回升出现时间或比市场预期还要更早；因为当前油价还不足以鼓励原油企业恢复产量，一旦原油需求大幅增长，因油价走低而被迫搁置的油田将很难快速恢复产量，届时油价恐出现急升；如果供应量恢复不足，布伦特原油价格可能突破75美元/桶，之后有望进一步指向100美元/桶。

同时Raymond James & Associates公司表示，供应量吃紧应在2016年底前推动油价突破60美元/桶。美国石油产量预计将于2016年第三季度“触底”，之后开始回升；到2016年第三季度，液体油总产量将从今年春季触及的1295万桶/日的峰值降至1213万桶/日；谷底产量将比峰值下降81.2万桶/日，其中大部分降幅将集中于原油产量；

同时周四沙特石油部长纳伊米表示，全球石油需求正在改善，称看见短期内石油供需在逐渐平衡。

周四(10月15日)良好的美国核心通胀和就业数据扫清了本周笼罩在美元身上一些阴霾，而美联储官员仍然在为年内加息辩护，这助力美元周四自一周低位回升，不过鉴于近期美国普遍疲软的数据和较差的经济预期，美元在反弹走势上仍然如履薄冰。

原油方面，虽然EIA库存数据猛增，但有关库存大增的利空因素也随着数据的公布而被市场抛之脑后，市场把炒作焦点转向了美国原油产量减少的消息上，加之良好的欧美企业财报给股市带来的提振，风险情绪回暖使得油价探底回升基本收回当日跌幅，中短期前景上也是柳暗花明。
