yes, go for long position, u will appreciate end of the day!
oil price is near bottom i believe
if oil price further down, no worry, pick up some..
if oil price further up, feel happy, but don't sell!
cost averaging, please, preferably downward.
so, it does't matters at this juncture if oil price up or down...
just admit, it is too volatile!
wait till a good time (may be 2018), and have fatty capital gain, u sell..

Good morning guys! Doha meeting on Sunday to freeze oil production did not succeed. Oil is down more than 5% in Asia trade and Ringgit weakened sharply to 3.9501 this morning. Not going to be good for sentiment on oil & gas stocks and there could be some knee jerk selling this morning. KNM may fall more first but i believe it will bounce back soon, have to hold. Happy Investing!

SINGAPORE: Oil prices plunged on Monday after the world's top producers failed to reach agreement on capping output and easing a global supply glut at a meeting in Doha.

The collapse of Sunday's talks sent oil tumbling in early Asia trade, with the US benchmark West Texas Intermediate for May delivery down US$2.20, or 5.45 percent, from Friday's close at US$38.16. Global benchmark Brent crude for June fell 5.17 percent, or US$2.23, to US$40.87. -- AFP

Oil prices recovered due to strike in Kuwait but that should be temporary only. However, short term sentiment on KNM should be better. Hope it continues to recover today.

Thought oil will plunge after Kuwaiti oil strike over but it went up almost 4% overnight! I think the market is telling us that oil will not fall much from these levels already. Time for KNM to rebound.

The better hint or lead is to look at how has Ho Hup performing versus KNM. You will find there are some relevance but KNM is still lagging. This is of course, coming from the assumption, something major going to be announced between KNM-HoHup most recent JV.

To me, oil price is irrelevant to a fundamental investors. Since oil price is favorable anyway, so who cares?

#2 HSI (postKL5pm) has been similarly weakened to a low 21410 before a weak rebound to 21490/21500 now....the immediate effect on tomorrow HSI cash and futures can not be good....so we shud expect another 200 points losses next 2-3 days as the Dow above...giving us the bargaining oppurtunity to buy the HSI-Cs at KLSE...for the next up=waves next week...
