High chances that Toyoven power plant will be delay partially due to "decree by Emperor Xi".

if delayed...Toyo price will drop further thus it will be a good opportunity to catch falling knives.

by now.....Toyo management should have some sort of clarification on the matter.
If until now, can't even issue a statement that Toyo project won't be affected....
it mean that Toyo project is under intense scrunity by Emperor Xi remark at UN.

it show that even CECC paid the deposit doesn't even guarantee the project will be shelved or delay.

Toyo will and might need to find another JV partner soon....if it want to get the project ASAP as Toyo have signed coal supplies with Vietnam supplier for 25 years periods..

Without experienced project partner in building power plant, this USD3 bil power plant will not move.

Toyo needs the project partner to take more than 50% equity stake in the JV as Toyo doesn't have the funding size and technical know how to build a power plant.

CECC is the best partner as they have the best experience in building power plant for many years in Vietnam.

Toyo may need to look for others like Sumitomo,POSCO, TATA which have presence in the country.

Local partners like petrovietnam ,Electricity of Vietnam would be alternatives but they are already having many projects on hand.

The Board of Directors of TVHB had on 30 November 2021 resolved to propose a dividend payout of 1.0 sen per ordinary share, subject to shareholders’ approval at the Second Annual General Meeting (“AGM”). An announcement to this effect was made on 30 November 2021.

Unfortunately the Board has to withdraw this proposal due to insufficient retained earnings of the Company.

The proposed resolution on the final single-tier dividend of 1.0 sen per ordinary share shall not be tabled and discussed at the forthcoming AGM.

This announcement is dated 31 January 2022.
