Here's my speculation regarding MINETEC: Abang Izzarim's acquisition of MINETEC suggests a potential integration with IRIX Sdn Bhd.
IRIX specializes in subsea cable manufacturing, particularly submarine cables. According to Abang Izzarim's recent interview, his focus is on telecommunications and digital infrastructure projects.
Based on this, here are my speculations:
MINETEC could venture into submarine cable projects, particularly for transferring green energy electricity to Singapore from renewable sources like hydropower. This could lead to a collaboration where Singapore invests in data centers in Sarawak in exchange for energy. MINETEC may also engage in digital infrastructure initiatives, such as building data centers for artificial intelligence applications. Sarawak's goal of establishing 5 Tier IV data centers aligns with this speculation
If these projects come to fruition, MINETEC stands to benefit significantly. Revenue from these two ventures could propel the company to generate billions of ringgit in revenue annually.
These developments signify a structural shift for the company, marking the emergence of MINETEC's new core business.
@DatoT20, yes, that what i would speculate too. Submarine cable projects and Data centers for artificial intelligence. Based on Abang Izzarim interview and Abang Johari statements.
This is the essence of making money in the stock market: positioning yourself early, establishing your investment thesis, and determining your entry and exit points. If your thesis proves correct, you stand to reap significant rewards.
It's not about constantly shouting "BUY BUY BUY" when a stock is about to hit its limit up, or "SELL SELL SELL" when operators are dumping shares. It's about strategic decision-making based on your analysis and conviction.
We're all speculators at heart. We invest in the stock market because we enjoy speculating. Whether it's anticipating good or bad quarterly reports, speculating on new projects, or pondering various possibilities, speculation is what drives us.
I doubt the operator will flood the market with shares, allowing others to buy at low prices. If MINETEC has a significant development underway, I don't think the operator will allow retail investors to buy at a discount. It seems they've been accumulating shares steadily, particularly below 20 cents, based on my observation.
It's your choice if you want to play the timing game. You might try to pinpoint a bottom and get lucky, but I'm not skilled at bottom fishing—it's not my strategy. Once they've finished accumulating (which is unknown to everyone), they'll likely remove all the obstacles and resistance at 18 cents and 20 cents, allowing the share price to rise smoothly.
17 sen queue is huge, the main point gt huge volume buy at that price.. who is buying? why only queue at 0.17 but not q at 0.165, 0.16 etc... something is happening
Suddenly, there are many large buy orders at the price of 17 cents. Previously, there were none. This indicates that someone is interested in accumulating shares.
This is a classic operator tactic. They set up a fake barrier at 17 cents, preventing retailers from selling at that price. This forces impatient retailers to dump their shares at 16.5 cents.
Someone has been purchasing a significant number of shares from the operator at 17 cents. The operator must cancel their queue. They don't want to lose too many shares at a low price, so they cancel the queue.
Here are 3 classic strategies that stock operators often use:
Creating Fake Sell: Manipulators place large sell orders. This gives the impression that many people are trying to sell the stock.
When retailers see these big sell orders, they might panic and start selling their shares at lower prices, thinking the stock will keep dropping.
Once enough people have sold and the price drops, manipulators cancel their big sell orders. This move can cause the price to bounce back up or stabilize, as the fake sell pressure disappears.
@DatoT20...Surprised to see you joining this thread. Even my buddy @IlmuKhodam agrees with you. Soon many will too. It has always been refreshing to see your writing. Cheers Dato'...
