The Group is currently busy with EPCC works on Phase 2 of Pengerang Deepwater Terminal, which is the development, construction and operation of the facilities required for the handling, storage and distribution of crude oil, petroleum, chemical and petrochemical feedstock, products and by-products to and from the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (“RAPID”) complex. The estimated total cost in Phase 2 is RM6.3 billion with 2.1 million m3 of storage capacity. This project is scheduled to be completed progressively in 2018 and 2019.

35% increase in net profits Q1 2016/17 results... with nett cash. should be seeing some buying interests soon to bring the share price back up to RM1.60 - RM1.70 level. one resilient long term cash profit making company....

Patient guys. Most of those fund managers are eye on cheaper Oil&Gas stocks. Need some time to divert attention back to Dialog. year end 1.60 should be no problem

KUALA LUMPUR: Saudi Arabian Oil Co., or Saudi Aramco, will not go ahead with the plan to team up with Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) to undertake the RM89bil (US$20.1bil) refining and petrochemicals project in Johor, the Wall Street Journal said.

Saudi Aramco had decided not to go ahead with the project as it would not generate sufficient returns after conducting a feasibility study, according to three people familiar with the matter, the newspaper said on Wednesday.

WSJ said the two companies were in talks to create a joint venture partnership to build a refinery with capacity to process 300,000 barrels of oil a day, alongside a petrochemical complex with a combined annual chemical output of 7.7 million metric tons, the people said.

Petronas previously estimated the proposed complex would cost some RM53bil to build.

Related facilities ranging from raw-water supply to a plant to turn liquefied natural gas back into gas would cost another RM36bil.

RM1.70 reached.... now Dialog will move +/- 5c from this level ... inching upwards towards RM1.80 sometime May and push towards it's valuation of RM1.90 by August 2017. Buy..buy..buy.. on weakness.
