ahbeng77, cud u kindly advise if this is correct - during buyback, price will go up. but after that they may resell to the market and this will bring the price down. unless they don't sell but either cancel the treasury shares or distribute back to shareholders as share dividend. sori to ask so many questions...just one month old in the big bursa of fear and greed.

Hi Connie9170, I believe the intention of the entire share buyback exercise is a positive move! I am always asking myself with a simple question, what is the objective of invest/buying a share? I got my answer and I believe Dialog board of director also have the same answer. Share repurchase/buyback not only will unlock it's value but would also help to stabilize the share price.

hi ahbeng77, am holding quite a number of shares (at least for my std that is). bot with intention of holding long term. but when i read the circular i got excited with this share buyback. coz if price goes up a lot then i may consider selling partial for some profits. will they announce when they will buyback ?. thanks so much for your feedback

me too! am holding dialog shares since 2007 and very happy with their dividend policy + management team. to me I will continue to support this counter as long as the management continue to take care of their minor shareholder like me!

bernard6key, div ex-date 27/11 and rate 0.022. maybe this is the reason price up. also epf is playing a lot with this counter - dispose and acquire. if approved at agm, there will be share buyback - probably another reason for soaring.
