The existing biz which were there already before change of major shareholders are hydro power development and transportation. The new biz are provision of healthcare services via LYC and IT solution via Yi Lai and soon banking in Cambodia.
i think there is limited upside to glove now albeit big potential for downside even though analysts are keep promoting these stock for obvious reason. When fund wanted to sell they will tell the investor to buy
The Ministry of Defence (MKN) recently announced that they are planning to reimplement the National Service Training Program (PLKN). Gunung Capital was the provider of buses used for the program before it was terminated, Some of the buses are now being used for a school bus transportation service to armed forces camps under a contract worth more than RM 44 m. If PLKN is revived, Gunung will definitely benefit !
Perhaps not many are aware that G Capital has a large portfolio of hydro power projects both completed and under development. Recently G Capital have an MOU to expand its hydro interest to buy a number of hydro project interests in Perak and Pahang totaling 56 MW, both completed and underdevelopment.
