KUALA LUMPUR: ECO World International Bhd’s (EWI) listing may be pushed to September as it continues to court potential cornerstone investors, said sources close to Eco World Development Group Bhd.
Business Times understands that Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Permodalan Nasional Bhd, Retirement Fund Inc and Tabung Haji are looking at investing in EWI.
People has been saying uptrend since one year ago, it's probably the most mentioned word. If only I can get a dollar every time the word "uptrend"is mentioned, I would be a millionaire faster than buying and holding the stock :D
Maybank Research: We are positive on the latest developments in ECW: a) rescission of Eco Marina (EM)s land deal in Batu Kawan and b) purchase of 534 acres of freehold land in Shah Alam via a 50:50 JV co. We prefer the new land (Eco Ardence) over EM and we believe these developments will help to lower ECWs overall development risks. We raise our earnings forecasts by 2-3% but keep our RNAV-TP largely unchanged at MYR1.46 based on an unchanged 40% discount to RNAV. Maintain BUY.
