Yes, PE ratio for PMetal is extremely high. You can easily calculate using Share Price / Earning Per Share

Buying PMetal = Buying Aluminium Commodity. PE is high but everyone still like the stock because people expect this commodity price to move higher due to reduce in inventory and anticipate Alu price will move towards US$2400. But recent few weeks...Alu price move in opposite direction due to strong US$ and China economy slowing down. http://www.lme.com/metals/non-ferrous/aluminium/

No need to see alu price lah...p.metal goes into price correction mode...is only ppl speculate and goreng till rm 7...u think with slight drop of price can effect so much? U think they dnt hedge their stock meh...? Thet are alu ingot producer....if like tht many oil & gas ctr already colapse like tht already lor everyday as tdy crude price is under usd 95...semua fundamental sin ka lan.

If it hold at 6.30 tdy...it will be ok...if not 3rd day collapse tmr...until it correct till 5.70-5.80 region. Use p.metal- WC as a guideline...

Yes, the question now is what does everyone believe in Alu price in coming wks/mths. Impending US Interest rate increase and stronger US$ is bad for Alu price or any other commodity. Or..if you think current reduction in Alu inventory will push Alu price further up..then it is a good stock to buy and keep.

US interest rate already announced will not shift for now. at least for a 9 months time, Aluminium commodity price fluctuate isn't that big to cause Press Metal to jump building like this. As a big boy in Aluminium industry, for sure Pmetal will have their hedging arrangements. USD fluctuation even insignificant to cause the immediate effect of share price. So, reason of the story exclude : USD, US i rate, Commodity price. my own opinion is the reason doesnt arise from the Company business itself, is the big boy playing around the shares. This situation exist before in Latitude Tree... But Pmetal fluctuation is far more dashyat den Latitude.
